Dr. Sharmila Basu, PhD, Managing Partner

Dr. Basu has more than 18 years experience in bioinformatics. She held senior scientific positions in National Institute of Health, MD and worked on common genetic disorders in National Human Genome Research Institute. Dr. Basu founded MindSpec, a non-profit organization that develops software applications to aid autistic and elderly people with memory skills. She holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from University of Maryland USA.

Ravi Kollu
Chief Technical Officer
Mr Kollu brings over 20 years of experience in a variety of technology-based start-ups and software development. He is currently involved with developing security for smart cards in the finance sector. He has held numerous senior management positions. He has a Master’s in Computer Science, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.

Saumyendra Basu, Managing Partner

Mr. Basu has more than 20 years of experience in software development and integration methodologies. He is the founder Arko Inc., a software development and consulting company. He designed the Health Records Module for St. Joseph’s Hospital, the largest hospital in Denver, USA. He has a Master’s in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Tele-communication Engineering from Jadavpur University, Calcutta, India.

Chandra Mallik
Marketing Manager
Ms Mallik has worked as a marketing manager in multiple organizations in Singapore, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Paris, Belgrade and India. She is a founder member of a Berkeley based non-profit organization that promotes Integral Health and Integral Development for at-risk youth and underserved populations. She has Master’s in Urban Design, Hong Kong University; Master’s in City & Town Planning, Moscow, USSR; and Bachelors in Architecture, Jadavpur University, Calcutta, India.
